Hello! I am a teacher of English based in Barcelona, Spain. I am very interested in using emerging technologies for teaching and learning, especially podcasting.
Although my first idea was for a regular podcast on 'Tips for Teaching with Technology' (the first few podcasts), I have started using this Podomatic account for special messages for virtual friends and colleagues to use as part of their conference presentations
The background noise on the first recording was rather disturbing - I know I have a problem with my PC having a particularly noisy fan, but I moved the mic away from the PC and the noise is still there as you can hear in this recording. So, I don't know why the quality is so bad - I think I'll try and record something externally the next time and upload it to see if this is any better.
